The International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) is pleased to offer a special one-day Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Best Practice Course on Thursday 11 November 2010 at the Singapore Water Centre 8.30am – 5.30pm in conjunction with the 28th International No-Dig Conference and Exhibition. This course, originally developed by NASTT in 2006, has been updated for international use and focused on regional needs.

What is CIPP? Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) technology is an effective trenchless pipeline rehabilitation method that may help to address many of the city's water and wastewater problems. CIPP is one of the most widely used and accepted pipeline rehabilitation methods. It significantly reduces infiltration and exfiltration. It is cost effective, can be fully structural and increases flow capacity. And because it is trenchless, traffic congestion and site disruption are significantly reduced. Learn more about the benefits of the CIPP process by attending this special one-day course.

Course objective: The CIPP course is geared to provide an in-depth overview of wastewater mainline and lateral pipe rehabilitation using CIPP from planning and design to job completion and acceptance testing.

CIPP course topics: CIPP Definitions and Terminology, Process Description, Background & Methods; CIPP Application Range in Trenchless Rehabilitation; CIPP Materials Manufacture and Development, Design of CIPP for Gravity Applications; Design of CIPP for Pressure Applications; Construction & Installation; Health and Safety Considerations; Specifications & Tendering; and Inspection, QA/QC and Remedial Works

Who should attend? The target audience is contractors, public works, consulting engineers, inspectors and industry practitioners.
